Everyday Hero for Rockingham CAC
Josh Stokel, North Hampton Police Department
The Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County has chosen Sergeant Joshua Stokel from the North Hampton Police Department as their Every Day Hero. Sergeant Stokel is part of our Multidisciplary team conducting comprehensive and age appropriate investigation of alleged child abuse. He has been with the North Hampton Police Department since 1999 and was one of the first police officers to take the Child Forensic Interview training. Its actually what Sergeant Stokel does beyond his every day duty as a police officer that make him our hero. He not only works to solve child abuse crimes, but can be found driving up and down Route 1 asking businesses for donations of any size to benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County during the annual fundraiser. Sergeant Stokel and his entire family often deliver stuffed animals which children receive after an interview or delivering cupcakes to the staff. Who does not like homemade cupcakes? We admire and thank Sergeant Stokel for his outstanding support of children and the Child Advocacy Center!
